- Excellent deal
These are 3 of Haydn's most well-known symphonies: The Farewell, The Clock, and the Surprise. For just under 7 bucks you can't go wrong here. Naxos sometimes gets a bad wrap for getting below-par groups to perform, but the Capella Istropolitana sounds wonderful in my humble opinion. They also perform Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik (which in my opinion is the best-sounding Naxos CD I've heard). I think the Farewell symphony sounds great. You won't be disappointed with this disc; I highly recommend it.
