"Wonderful" is a very good song that accurately renders the feelings a child experiences during divorce. When I first heard the song and saw the music video, I was stunned; it brought back a lot that I hadn't felt in a long time.

The first B-side is a remix of "Father of Mine". It's very well done. If you don't own a recording of this song, then you will be glad it was added to this single. It complements "Wonderful" quite well.

The second B-side is "I'm on Your time", which was cut from the Songs from an American Movie, Volume 1 CD. It's a hard-driving song about, what else?, a fragmenting relationship. It's pretty saxophone opening leads to a rowdy rock number. The vocals are sometimes hard to understand, but it's a nice romp.

My one MAJOR quibble is that this CD is not enhanced with the music video for "Wonderful". If Everclear wanted to really perform a public service, they would have included the video on this single. I suppose I hope for too much.

I simply couldn't live without music! The first time I heard this song......I just cried. They reached out and grabbed my memories and took me back to a place I have been myself. Music is therapeutic..it makes you laugh, it makes you cry, it gives you hope and strength. Everclear is a group that offers quite a bit of therapy. My suspicions are that someone in the group had the same sort of childhood I did. Thanks for the positive power....Rock on!

I absolutly love this song, and its a cheap way to get the song you really want.
