This is a re-issue of Elvis classic single In the Ghetto featuring the original B-Side, Any Day Now, and an alternate take of In the Ghetto. As has been pointed out, it does NOT include the remixed duet with Lisa Marie but that is no reason to dis this release, just because Amazon labeled it wrong.

Originally released in 1969 in the wake of his successful TV comeback special, it became Elvis first US top ten single since 1965's Crying in the Chapel. It peaked at number 3 on the Billboard singles chart but went all the way to number 1 on the rival Cashbox singles chart as well as in the UK and several other countries. It is a moving performance and this is a nice collector's item for avid Elvis fans.

I purchased this CD thinking it was a duet with Elvis and Lisa Marie...but it is clearly not. This song is the old version of In the Ghetto by Elvis alone. Very misleading...

I was very disappointed in this product. It clearly stated that it was a remake with Lisa Marie singing along. I wish I had never purchased this product.

all my sister wanted for her birthday was elvis and lisa singing in the ghetto that she saw on a morning show so i typed it in on amazon what i was sent is not what i ordered this is first bad experince with amazon

I didn't read carefully that this was published on a vinyl 33 1/3 record. I have no way to play the recording. I want to be able to listen to the Elvis Presley recording of In The Ghetto on a CD so I am disappointed.
