- A unique fusion of soul, reggae and rock that hit big time.

This was Grant's most successful album and its unique fusion of soul, rock and reggae made it very different from most of the music it was competing with at the time. "Electric Avenue" was the big hit but the other songs were very good. Like Stevie Wonder, Eddy Grant is a multi-faceted artist who can play many instruments and write and produce his own material.

- A classic!

I have missed Eddy Grant! I wanted to hear the hit song I Don't Want to Dance because the song is a childhood memories for me, a song of an era. I was born 1973, and the song was been heard a lot on radio, as well as the song Electric Avenue. Eddy Grant is sticking to one particular style and so you always know what to expect when you buy some of his albums. This cd has cheerful melodies with nice lyrics, and it's always a delight to hear!

A must buy cd!

- Reggae-blues-calypso

First released in 1982, when Eddy Grant was riding the crest of a wave.

The reggae-blues-calypso music , that was the hallmark of Eddy Grant, was phenomenal,

My favourites inlcude the Electric Avenue, the laidback , I Don't Wanna Dance, the samba Latin Love Affair and the energetic Killer on the Rampage.

True that it shouldn't be the fist album to intoduce you to Eddy Grant, it should be a great part of your reggae collection.

- Eddy Was The Coolest!

This album plays like the soundtrack to my college freshman year in 1983. Even with its 80's electronic beats, it still sounds fresh. I dare you to not sing along!

- This CD is a low quality pirated copy with a very strange noise right in the middle of it. Impossible to return it.

Low quality pirated copy with a very strange noise right in the middle of it which ruins the whole album. Looked into returning it but the site makes it virtually impossible to return anything. This was my first time using Amazone and I Won't be using Amazon again.
