- "I Wanna Hold Your Hand"

No offense to the previous reviewer, but since when do rock 'n' roll lyrics need to be as sophisticated as a James Joyce novel?

"You ain't nothin' but a hound dog", "Gabba gabba...we accept you", "Let's go surfin' now", "Rock 'n' Roll all night & party every day"..arguably all classics with simple, catchy lyrics.

If you want "lyrics" do a search for Springsteen or Dylan. As for the Donnas, all you need to know is they can flat out rock, period! For 3 1/2 bills and with bonus video, this is a bargain. If you can get one used for even less do it. So if you want great prose... get your red wine, snuggle up with Tolstoy's "War & Peace". If you want rock 'n' roll, just hit "add to cart". Yeah!

- Revised review

I originally gave this song 2 stars, but I threw another one on because although I'm not that impressed with the lyrics, it's really hard not to start dancing when the music comes on, especially those guitar riffs. Still, let's just hope the Donnas showcase better lyrics for their next album (I have no problem looking at them though; calling them sexy would be an understatement).
