Review - Product Description
Led by a group dynamic that embraces experimentation even as it celebrates classic pop and folk forms, The Decemberists are firmly established as a completely original happening in the world of contemporary indie rock. This DVD captures the band in the midst of their rise to prominence with a live recording of a performance at the Roseland Theater in Portland, Oregon on November 4, 2005. Includes five videos for songs off "Picaresque" and "Her Majesty", a documentary shot during the recording of "The Crane Wife", a series of short films shot during the photo session for the album cover photos, and outtakes. "The Tain", a fully animated, 4-part music video, is previously unreleased and unseen.

- This DVD rocks!

The concert made me feel like I was there. The Decemberists produce such a heartwarming atmosphere and still know how to rock the crowd. The documentary showed that they are goofy, a little nerdy, but they know what they are talking about. I have so much respect for The Decemberists. You won't be disappointed with this purchase!

- Excellent dvd

This is an excellent dvd. I have not watched the video's yet, but have been playing the concert since I got the dvd. It is a little rough around the edges, not as smooth a performance as when I saw them live, or in Austin city limits, but yet, a very very good dvd. Highly recommended to all fans.
