Being a life long Duran Duran fan, I saw them live for the first time this past summer. What I had to tell people of this concert is exactly this, "They sounded absolutely flawless! Perfect! 10!" People would cock their head to the side and say, "Duran Duran? That pretty boy band from the eighties?" I would reply, "Yes!! Duran Duran!!" "Ohhh yeah, yeah, I heard that they are making a come back." "Comeback? They were never gone! They have been consistently putting out great albums every few years ever since their self titled debut album in 1981. But yes, the original group is back....if that's what you mean." Duran Duran is always dismissed as a watered down 80's pop band, but they are one of the most underrated bands of our time. When you see this DVD and question how great they sound and assume that it's post production trickery, let me assure you that they sound just as good live as the do on the DVD. They just sound THAT good. I'm not only a music fanatic, but a musician myself and I have a very critical ear. I have seen nearly 160 national artists and bands perform. These guys put on a great show. They have been around long enough to know how to do it right and their seasoned professionalism shows. If you love the music of Duran Duran, you will love this DVD. You will not be disappointed.

This DVD is tremendous fun! The band looks and sounds fantastic! In fact, many of the songs sound a little better live, lots of fire and energy. The band looks like they're having a wonderful time, and so is their enthusiastic audience. I, too, saw them on their 2005 tour and this DVD captures very well what was one of the most fun concerts I ever attended. Even casual fans will be impressed.

i didn't care for the reunion album but this concert dvd rocks. filmed in hd with a sold out, very enthusiastic audience. the price is good too. thanks guys. :)

I love Duran Duran, but I realize there are a few performances out there that are less than stellar. This concert is over-the-top STELLAR. Fantastic music and beautiful band. My favorite numbers are the older songs from Rio and Seven and the Ragged Tiger, but a terrific job was done on all and by all. Some of my friends who are not especially into Duran Duran thought this video really rocked.

I'm amazed at how energetic and fit Simon is after all these years.
