I am almost exactly 13, so hope this is okay My mum got me this album yesterday and I just love it! I already have a "best of" album by this wonderful man but this has many other songs I haven't heard before. I really love this guy and think you should buy this album.

Having collected virtually all of Don McLean's recordings on vinyl over the years, I finally decided to purchse this compilation, so I could hear his great music again.

I couldn't jutify buying the whole lot, so "Collection" was the way to go. Whoever chose the songs for this one did a good job. Love it!

Don McLean is such a talented songwriter and singer, and the songs on this CD really show his voice range. Outstanding CD.

A collection that includes some of McLean's rarer songs, as well as his two best-known songs "American Pie" & "Vincent" (for a change, in live perfs). Well transfered, fortunately with al the tracks equally balanced for sound levels (a common & frustrating problem on many compilations). This is not "Greatest Hits", but more interesting. You will of course need to have the "American Pie" album as well to be near complete.
