- sexy music for fall.

I've been a fan of dionne,s since the heartbreaker days and this effort here just makes me love her all the more! This is great music for anyone who likes to listen to good music on a fall evening and feel sexy! And the duet with cousin nippy is pure pop delight! So all of you twenty-somethings out there trying to keep up with the gen-x croud by listening to the n-stinc's and the britney whats-her-faces; knock it off! We still have pros out there like dionne giving us good solid material that fits our age without sounding out dated and stale.Which in my personal opinion good music never gets old; this cd here is one for the shelf. Dionne has'nt sounded this good since "love power", my ultimate favorite tune by her. Thanks to amazon.com theres still hope for people like me who loves good music. Well now I know where to find it!

- Dionne Still Has It!

This is a must have recording for any Dionne Warwick fan. I have been a fan of Dionne Warwick since back to the "Don't Make me Over" days. Dionne still has what it takes to stir my soul and make me sing! The sounds are fresher and updated for a 90's sound, but still contain the definitive Dionne sound that we all love. Thank you Dionne Warwick for still shining as the original pop music Diva!

- Classic Dionne, with a lot of soul and style, great CD!!!

Dionne Warwick, always appears to know how to hit the mark when it comes to recording, good music. This cd is very good work, and flows from one great song to another. Another the styles and muscial arrangements( as produceres and writers)change form song to song this does don't phase the classic vocalist, she is up to the challenge and simply blows the songs away. In particular are her cover of Sting's "Fragile", and the funky"Til the End of Time". For anyone you may think that Dionne can only sing love songs you will be in for a great surprise with the variety of songs and music genres covered. So go out and buy this Cd to hear what a great vocalist can sound like when given the room to grow. Many of today's younger vocalist could learn alot from this lady!!!!!

- Hidden Treasures-Yuppies Find!

How can you lose when 2 "angels" put their voices together. Well, Whitney and Dionne did get their act together and in fact did one mighty heart soaring rendition on "Love will find a way"; but sadly enough, not much of a promotion by the way of a Single release was attempted by Arista to capitalise on this really rare duet by 2 big mega stars. The album itself shines like the sun and should have had been a hit for Dionne, but somehow, the obvious did not materialise. It is sad, not for Dionne, as she makes music as an artiste regardless of its hit potential, but for the listening public to be deprived of some of the coolest and most yuppie styled arrangements in music choices this album has to offer. Perhaps a second revival with the airwaves in this depressing times might rejuvenate the senses for the new century. A definite yuppie MUSST-HAVE if you dig TRUE class and style.

- Friends Can Be Lovers

Two decades after this albums' release, it still sounds as vibrant, fresh and sophisticated as it did when it was originally released. Dionne successfully expanded on her sound with this album. There are Pop songs expertly performed in Dionne's unique way such as "I Sing At Dawn" and "Sunny Weather Lover" (the albums' first single). There are also lush ballads "Love Will Find A Way" with the late Whitney Houston) and a cover of Sting's hit song "Fragile", classy Funk-Soul songs such as "Much Too Much", "Till The End Of Time" and the title track as well as the sensual slow jam "Where My Lips Have Been". Overall, the album as a whole has a more sensual tone which makes an ideal album for an evening with ones' partner or feeling the lover within oneself. This is album is one of the finest albums she has ever recorded and it worth your attention! I highly recommend this album!
