- Lush and atmospheric

It has been some time now since I last listened to Diary of Dreams. I guess I have had my attention pulled away from DoD by other artists and bands that I have discovered online. Last year I fell back in love with DoD when I came across the track "Tears of Laughter" from the album End of Flowers. I finally got around to buying the album over the summer. The music is very cold, dense but yet lush and atmospheric. I have to admit I have to really be in the mood to want to listen to End of Flowers but when I do feel like listening to the album, the music is enchanting with Adrian Hates' deep vocals and the sinister rhythms and beats. I love how the gorgeous ballad "Tears of Laughter" closes the album on a quiet note. My only flaw with the album is the length. 71 minutes ia a bit much for me but that is just my personal opinion. Overall great album.

- die--ary of nightmares

If you like that really dark dramatic "all is lost \end of the world "type vocals , then these are the guys. think of the darkest moment for say clan of xymox and that's where these duys live. I have all their stuff and it's not all great, but none of it's bad and there are sure more than a few moments of greatness. Clocking in at 73 minutes , you'll get your money's worth....

- Diary Of Dreams: End Of Flowers

When I bought this CD, I was originally looking for a CD with music like their "Dream Collector" or "One of 18 Angels", and although that wasn't necessarily what I got, this CD is still very good in its own rights. Adrian Hates is definitly an artist with vision and his vision shines through with each song on this release. Unfortunately, this is one of those CD's that cannot be summarized in a paragraph or two, it's definitly one you need to hear for yourself to understand. I give it a strong showing and would recommend it to any Diary Of Dreams fan anywhere in the world.
