Finally! After years of Motown anthologies that simply re-hash the well-known, beloved classics, a collection comes along that highlights sparkling long-out-of-print album cuts by the most famous ladies on the roster. "Stop! In The Name Of Love" is an album that will delight Supremes fans who are looking for something different--a best-of collection that includes rarities! One listen confirms that many of these selections could have been smash hits in their own right. Diana's voice exudes tenderness and intimacy on the ballad "Everything Is Good About You", a song whose instrumentation beautifully enhances her soft, feminine voice with chimes and strings. "Who Could Ever Doubt My Love" becomes an instant girl-group classic to first-time listeners. Its lavish production and Diana's yearning vocal presence are complemented by angelic harmonies form Mary and Flo.
