Customer review
4 of 4 people found the following review helpful:
- Hard country Dino, produced by Jimmy Bowen

Jimmy Bowen produced all of Dean's Reprise hits, but in the later years, particularly when it was "his" orchestra, the country sound got a real heavy beat. That's not always bad, and you will find two great cuts here -- a very strong Martin performance on "My Woman, My Woman, My Wife" (supposedly recorded in tribute to his wife whom he had recently divorced) and "For The Good Times" with a nice and relaxed orchestration. Several of the country standards here are very nicely done -- "Here We Go Again", "Make The World Go Away", "Tip Of My Fingers", "Detroit City", "Turn The World Around", "Keeps Right On A Hurting", "Invisible Tears", and "Perfect Mountain". All these are nicely done, both in terms of the strong arrangements and Dean's vocals. There's one cut at the bottom -- "For Once In My Life" -- ah well, they can't all be winners.

Customer review
- Not too nice

I receive the cd but it has no sound at all, doesn't play. Too sad so.

Thank you.

Customer review
- Fabulous!

We love Dino in our house. Any of his later music (more country style and relaxed) plays at least 2-3 times per week, for hours at a time.

I'm replacing all the albums with CDs.
