Review - Product Description
As complex an artist as he is, the "Mysterious Rhinestone Cowboy" has still had over 30 hits and written smashes for Tanya Tucker and Johnny Paycheck. Here are his own Would You Lay with Me (in a Field of Stone) and Take This Job and Shove It plus his hits Mona Lisa Lost Her Smile; The Ride; You Never Even Called Me by My Name; Longhaired Redneck , and eight more!

- Great Old Country

I bought this cd to have a broad brush of David Allan Coe's music. I have listened to him in the past and really wanted something I would have forever. This was a really good CD to purchase that has all great songs on it. It was well worth the $$$ to purchase it.

- Essential Davis Allan Coe

This a a great collection for those who remember the old David Allan Coe hits and then some. Brings a lot from the past and a bit of the newer stuff. If you don't know who the man is....you should consider listening to him a bit.
