You can really feel the crowd erupt at the beginning of "king daddy" as he tells all the "Boricuas" to raise their arms! For me, even though I'm not fluent in spanish, you can still get the energy that he evokes from the crowd. It's on my workout playlist on my IPOD. The DVD is great as well, especially the interview. If you already have Barrio Fino, then En directo is a great addition!!

I received this album as a Christmas gift and loved it as soon as I put it in my CD player. The CD has live versions of his songs from the last album that made him famous "Barrio Fino" which is considered to be the number 1 selling Latin Album in history. The DVD has never before seen footage about his life on tour and includes the Music Video from the song "Corazones" and a trailer to a movie called Talento de Barrio Daddy Yankee's story similar to Eminem's 8 Mile. I like the new songs in the album such as Rompe and El Truco. However I was disappointed with Machete feat Paul Wall, and Gangsta Zone feat Snoop Dog. Didn't like the lyrics in those 2 songs. Machete was good until Paul Wall did his piece. Those songs esp Machete would have been way better without Snoop and Paul. I encourage you guys to buy the album when you get a chance, and if you haven't bought Barrio Fino get it!!!

MUSIC IS REALLY HOPPING AND DVD (IN SPANISH) IS REALLY ENLIGHTENING.

I actually like the whole cd. I wasn't disappointed. Good solid music throughout. The music of Daddy Yankee is becoming a favorite of mine.

This CD/DVD set is great! I listen to the CD in my car always and I have not gotten tired of it yet. The CD has upbeat music that you can dance to, along with mellow beats. I love it!! The DVD is informative. Daddy Yankee seems so grounded and real while telling his experiences while performing in different parts of the country. He sheds light on things that I would not have considered. He just seems so humble and I love that about him. Very informative to me. I would recommend Barrio Fino En Directo.
