When I first heard "Fill Me In", I ws hooked. I had to get Born To Do It. So, as soon as I got it, I instantly went through the tracks, and was not disappointed. I found this cd to be well worth the money I had paid for it. Craig David has crafted together a work of art with his first release, and continues his exellence with Slicker Than Your Average. Plus, his remixes are a wonderful compliment to his smash singles(Seven Days, Rendezvous, Key To My Heart, the countless Walking Away remixes). I thoroughly enjoyed and continue to enjoy his music. Here's hoping that Mr. David keeps doing what he's born to do and keep his listeners happy.
This cd rocks. BUT the songs that are on this one, that are also on the US version sound exactly the same. The remixes are good and the US version does not have all of these remixes. This CD is also missing two songs that are on the US print.
Craig David's "Born To Do It" is the best CD i have ever listened to in my entire life. It is a mix of R&B and rap, if you like that kind of music (i do) this CD is just for you. His songs are so amazing, they make you want to start singing them whenever you hear them. What's better is that the CD comes with the words, so you won' have difficulty understanding the songs and singing along. Ever since i got this CD, i take it everywhere with me, and have stopped listening to my other music. This music is unique, buy it the first chance you get!
It has been awhile since I've been so excited about a new artist. With a combination of R&B and UK Garage, Craig David has come up with a fantastic album that should appeal to a broad spectrum of listeners stateside. Although some may claim his music to be formulaic and banal, I found the tracks on his "Born To Do It" CD refreshing and toe-tappingly catchy. Having first caught this British artist on travel in Asia on MTV, it is a wonder how his presence in the U.S. has not been felt just yet. I expect his recent U.S. (May 2001) release of his single, "Fill Me In" to be a great introductory debut. As for the rest of the album, I highly encourage you to go out and listen to what songs you may find available to you.
A few choice tracks besides "Fill Me In" that have been enormously popular outside the U.S. are "Rendezvous, Seven Days, & Walking Away." Keep an eye out on the many remixes that are available to many of his songs.
I do not expect everyone to agree with my taste or assessment of this artist but I respectfully look forward to reading any comments others may have on this artist.

I downloaded all of the songs from winmx about 5 months ago.
I wasnt sure if I would like it or not, but to my surprise I came to love it. I'm not much into R&B, but Craig David's album has definately given me a diferent outlook on it. The first track "Fill Me In" is one of the more popular, but only because the radio doesn't play the others. If You like R&B or not, I recomend that you by this album. He also mixed in the great sound of U.K. 2-step garage. BUY IT!!!!
