- Most beautiful music I have heard in 61 years!
This is very special music.
Charlie Parker plays 16 great old standards with a haunting sound and the strings just set him up.
I have always gone into a near-meditative state listening to a good version of "Autumn in New York" and every song on this album does that for me.
Some people might call this "Easy Listening" but if I heard it in an elevator I would not want to get off.
I love this music!
