I bought this vinyl release of Rock N' Roll Music, Volume 1 to complete the set. I had years earlier bought Volume 2 (before the compact disk was invented). Rock N' Roll Music is one of the few albums by the Beatles not yet issued on CD as originally issued in the 1960s. I've searched everywhere for the CDs to no avail. But the songs are scattered across other CDs. The Japan release, The Beatles Story, for example contains many of the songs on vinyl Volume 1.

Good thing I still have my turn table. I received this vinyl album in excellent condition and have already played it many times. This is classic, lovely baby boomer rock and roll. Long Live Sir Paul.

I loved this album and wished it was available on CD. I borrowed this cassette from the library a lot in 2000 and found songs for it on CDs in 2001. This album only contains 4 songs originally written by the Beatles, but they do classic takes on songs they did not write. This is probably one of my favorite albums issued by the Beatles. I wish it was available on CD.
