- Precious stuff

Agree with previous reviewer, the live stuff by bands like the Buzzcocks (or the Adverts, or the Only Ones, or quite a few bands) can be fairly redundant of the recorded stuff, except!! Gotta hear it when you love a band this much! I paid 99 cents for mine!!

- I assume these 14 Peel session songs are on here

I admit it, I haven't heard this CD. I do have 14 BUZZCOCKS Peel songs:

Sep 7 77: Fast Cars, Moving Away From the Pulsebeat, What Do I Get?

Apr 10 78 Noise Annoys, Walking Distance, Late for the Train, Promises,

Oct 18, 78 Lipstick, Everybody's Happy Nowadays, 16 Again,

May 21, 79 I Don't Know What To Do with My Life, Mad Mad Judy, Hollow Inside, E.S.P.

I'm not a BUZZCOCKS expert. However, I've been a fan for decades. These are, like most Peel songs, fun to listen to. They remind me of the JAM Peel songs, really quite faithful to the records. I like to have something different from the record when I hear live or demo or outtake versions of a band's songs. However, this band is so good that it's fun to listen to these versions as is. They're not particularly distinct from the records from what I heard and I listened to it today. Nice to have. Obviously not for $50. But at a decent price, I'd buy it. chrisbct@hotmail.com
