- Britney's doing somethin' amazing!

Do Somethin' is very fun and catchy. It has the same feel and light hearted touch of Toxic, which makes sense because Do Somethin' is by the same producers. The beat is nice and Britney sounds like she's having fun singing and not trying to hard, which makes her audience have fun too. Great single, get it.

- Terrible

The tracklisting for this CD single is horrible. It only includes two tracks. The album version is good, but the remix is mediocre at best. Not good enough, and not enough tracks. Awful.

Tracklisting:-

01 Do Somethin'

02 Do Somethin' - DJ Monk Radio Edit

- But I DO like Britney Spears!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Firstly, I am not a Britney basher. In this review, I am not attacking the person, namely Britney Spears (like a lot of reviewers whose remarks should be removed). I own all her full cds - the imports becasue they have extra songs/mixes. I own nearly all her singles and remixes including the Pepsi song.

Ok now for the review. It is not the fact that this song is similar to Toxic that is bad. It is the lyrics that bring this down hard! The first time I listened to this it was grating. The second time I turned it off around where she sang "give me a guitar so I can look like a star" or something like that. As for the music, it is cheesy pop rock that may have worked for something else but together with these dismal lyrics made for an experiment gone terribly wrong.

While I will admit that her interpretation of "I Love Rock n' Roll" was a bad idea, at least it was listenable. This "Do Something" song is not even that. So Britney I did Do Something, unfortunately it was not good....I turned off the cd! If it was a single, I would have broken it!

What?!! "No helpful votes"?!!! Come on! I like Britney Spears and own everything by her except this. WORST SONG EVER!!!!
