- Lazy Bootsy (we don't need another compilation...)

Buyer beware! This is a more a compilation/mixtape than an album (the title maybe says it all: "bootlegged". I already knew all of these tracks from previous Bootsy albums (except number 7, with Fatboy Slim). The first two tracks are from BLASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, with different but uninspired vocals on it. You get tracks from ZILLATRON, WHAT'S BOOTSY DOIN?, FRESH OUTTA P UNIVERSITY... Of course, diehard funkateers will buy this for the two or three slightly remixed versions of songs already known, but frankly, I can make better Bootsy compilations than this! In my opinion, most of the tracks on display here are not even among Bootsy's best... And the cover is the cheapest I have seen in ages!!! Too bad (and expensive too!). I'd rather listen to Bootsy's very good Christmas album from 2006, and I have already ordered the Science Faxtion CD with Brain and Buckethead! We'll see if Casper still has some juice. I recommend buying George Clintons's latest masterpiece AND HIS GANGSTERS OF LOVE and also Bernie Worrell's last year's BABY ELEPHANTS instead of this hoax.

- Just plain awful

Bootsy is a fantastic musician - but this album is just the dregs ... bought it at a bootsy concert and shocked to hear tracks from 'fresh out of p-funk university' hiding under new names. NOT remixes - the exact track. I threw mine in the trash in disgust

- HIP HOP Fused Funk by Bootsy

This is old school mixed with new school. Some of the tunes on this CD are great for dancing in a house party atmosphere. I luv it...
