- Best in Class
I'm into my fifth vinyl copy of this classic Bobby Womack album. I've been returning to it every year since 1978. It has the definitive version of I'm Looking For A Love with BW multi-tracked vocals - oh so much cooler and more sophisticated than the many retreads rock by Steve Marriot, Small Faces etc. But to me it shows Bobby Womacks versatility and style. I liken it to Ray Charles's Modern Sounds in C&W in that it covers lot of styles with great vocals, delivery , searing guitar and great arrangements. Every track a favourite but 'Point of No Return' is my second choice after 'Looking For A Love'.
