Análisis - Product Description
Bob Marley’s role in the global success of Reggae music is nothing short of profound. His innovative fusion of the raw sounds of music borne of the Kingston ghetto with sophisticated western pop and soul stylings created a unique brand of Reggae that took the music world by storm. Such is the extent of his influence that today, some twenty years since his tragic passing, his music is as popular as ever.

Bob Marley and The Wailers started recording as early as 1963 in Jamaica. Following six years of local hits and having worked with a number of different producers, the group started a collaboration in 1969 with Lee "Scratch" Perry, which proved crucially important to their future development. Perry brought more focus to the trio‘s rebel stance and also recruited the bass and drum team of the Barrett brother, who became an integral part of The Wailer’s sound.

This exciting collection features Bob Marley’s early seminal work from the late sixties, along with the best collaborations with the legendary Lee "Scratch" Perry. This collection illustrates the developing talents of a man who rose from the ghettos of Kingston to become the Third World’s first international superstar, for the first time in surround sound.

- Poor Quality Control

Product was impossible to open without breaking the CD case. Why can't these folks figure out how to make a product that is easier to open? The music is 5 stars, of course.
