Great CD for fans just introduced to marley's work! MINE CAME ON TIME! :)

- Classic Marley

The reviews for this product are pretty pitiful. Don't look at the aggregate stars for this product, it has been brought down by reviewers who 1) are complaining about shipping TWICE and 2) wrote something incoherent.

Bob Marley is a legend. That said, this is missing a lot of Marley's best songs. Get 'Legend' instead.

- Good!

If you love Bob Marley this is a great CD. If your new to Marley and want to get a real feel for his music this is a really good CD to pick up. Tons of hits even the obscure ones. I just wish the sound quality was better. I guess you cant have it all.

- Horrible stuff.

I remember walking around a corner in town when I heard this stuff playing just around the corner by some strange man wearing a top hat with the top cut out with a plaster mannequin foot sticking out of it. At first, I thought it was a retard trying to play an instrument on a street corner; whereupon, I discovered it was a CD playing on a ghetto blaster. I was amazed to discover that this guy actually paid money for this stuff, which confirmed my initial impression that he lacked intelligence. The man with the top hat had a t-shirt that looked as if several paint dyes spilled on it. In the center of the shirt was a picture of this ugly man with stringy hair. His facial expression was that of a man who had just undergone a lobotomy. The erratic sound had a staccato effect as opposed to a lagato effect. However, it was a staccato with too many jumps that left one to conclude the composer was hearing impaired. I cannot recommend this stuff. It's pretty bad. The only conceivable market for this stuff would be amongst those freaks out west in the Northwest like Oregon or Washington. You need a population cut off from intelligent commerce with the rest of the country in order to find a consumer market for this weird stuff.

- wish

I wish I could rate this cd I purchased 2 months ago (Dec 4, 01), but it is still in a delay. I bought it for my neice and her new husband for Christmas and we are now into February and they have no gift from me yet. I am sure this will be a gift to remember, if it ever gets here. Maybe I can make it cover 2 Christmas'.
