First heard this CD in college in 1999. Loved it so much but didn't hear it for seven years. Ordered it again and it brought me back.
Lots of great RARE unheard tracks such as; gonna get you,rock steady, and stay with me.
I CANT BELIEVE THAT NOT SO MUCH AS ONE TRUE MARLEY FAN KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT THIS ALBUM??? IT IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE VERY BEST MARLEY COMPILATION THAT YOU WILL EVER HEAR!!! TO KNOW ABOUT IT IS TO APPRECIATE THAT IT WAS A CREATION OF HIS DAUGHTERS WHO WANTED TO SING WITH THEIR FATHER.... IF YOU ARE INTO MARLEY AND WOULD LIKE TO FINALLY HEAR HOW GREAT HIS VOICE SOUNDS CLEANED UP AND DIGITALLY REMASTERED THEN BUY IT! IN MY OPINION ITS THE VERY BEST BOB MARLEY ALBUM EVER DONE!!
This CD is a mixed bag. One or two songs are actually OK, but most are not up to snuff, and a couple just plain suck! The mix of old and new doesn't work. It sounds contrived and doesn't have the right vibe.
The Over dub took away his reggae roots. All Fans of Marley Be Warned This is bad!
