I remember buying this way back when Storm Front was first released. I live in Australia, and Storm Front was my first introduction to Billy Joel's music, and like everyone else I was completely blown away. The interviews are also good, especially the first one from the mid-eighties. There's one part where he shows how he came up with the lyrics to the song "Innocent Man" that has to be heard to be believed. I think that, along with John Farnham, Billy Joel is one of my favourite musical raconteur's. Intelligent, literate, as well as being very witty when he needs to be.
Still...now that the four-disc box set has been released, there's probably not much point in buying this edition unless you're a completist. But it doesn't take away from the fact that Billy Joel's music is brilliant. Speaking as an Australian, he's only one of two musicans who (to me) truly represent all that's good about America, the other being Bruce Springsteen.
