- great set lists, classic line up, but poor sound

I have followed anthrax for as long as I can remember, and when this album was pulled from release in 2007 (I had it pre-ordered), I was a bit dissapointed. When I saw that they were releasing it to coincide with the deluxe edition of Amongh the living, I was elated. This has a great set list from two concerts on that tour, one at Hammersmith Odeon, the other at Donnington. When I recieved the album and listened to the albums, I am let down by the mastering. Very rough, with parts being very tinny and almost tough to discern for me at times the beat and rhythm. I have bootleg Cd's that are mastered/sound better than this. I figured in two years that they had this off the market they would have improved this, but they did not. The Copyright is actually 2007 still on the label, so this was just sitting on a shelf unsold. This album is a good representation early anthrax for anyone because of the great tracklist, but I would not purchase this to introduce anyone to this. A must only for the collector.

Update 12/25/2009: Just a note from a comment by another shopper. The second disc does not contain "I'm the Man" as track 9, it is just AIR split into tracks 8 & 9 with a brief intermission for Joey to talk to the crowd. Again, couldn't they have fixed this in the two years they had this thing sitting on the shelf?

- Should never have been charged money for this.

I wanted to have a listen to this on iTunes before I bought it. I liked Anthrax around "persistence of time" and "sound of white noise". Two very different albums, but still good, well written songs. After getting into "worship music" I thought I would buy this. I wish I didn't. The first disc, which I prefer the obscurity of the songs on, sounds terrible. It even sounds like Joey had forgotten parts of his lyrics on the opening song "A.I.R," and replaced the last verse / chorus / wherever they where up to in that song with "yeaaaaaaaah". Disc 2 sounds better, but it is really only 8 songs, as " I am the man" is not on there. I thought "Live Noize" was ordinary. I doubt this will get played twice...... No wonder I couldn't listen to it first on iTunes.

- What a waste of money

Enough is enough. How many times are they gonna release "Im the law" "Caught in a mosh" and "Among the living" live.. this is getting ridiculous, just like Iron Maiden keeps releasing live versions of "Hallowed" "The Trooper " and # of Beast" DONT buy this, ..waste of money.
