- One great dance tune after another

A lot of Amber fans seem to like the newer album (Amber) better than the older album (This Is Your Night). I think maybe they just listened to the older one so many times that they wore it out in their minds and needed something new to feed the need. I don't have that problem. Having just fallen out of the sky about 2 years ago I'm hearing 90's pop all at once for the first time, sort of. And I like this one the best. It is happier, more upbeat, more fun to move to than the second one. Simpler, yeah, and maybe not as romantic in a way. But it's great to dance or work-out to. My usual album playlist only has 2 or 3 songs on it. My playlist for this album reads: 2,1,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,12, You get the picture! I believe some of these songs were done earlier by Real McCoy, maybe also Expose' - Amber's are better. I don't want to knock those artists though. "Automatic Lover" for example is worth the price of the whole Real McCoy album all by itself.

- Amber's got soul, but this is kinda poppy!

OK, Amber is probably the best dance diva out there today! I mean, she goes under Donna Summer as the queen of dance- that's how great she is! And it was one little song- the Hani dance mix of "One More Night" that made me fall in love with this Dutch vocalist. Amber's debut album, THIS IS YOUR NIGHT, is more pop than it is dance. "This Is Your Night", Amber's huge Top 40 hit, is extremly catchy and proves to be one of the most popular dance songs of the 90s. "One More Night" is the perfect slow jam. "Colour of Love" is a great Euro-dance song. "Hold My Body Tight", "Being With You", "This Is the Right Time", "Move Your Body", although they are all dance tunes with pop flare and simple, naive lyrics, add to the wonderful party flavor of this album. Overall, not the most artistic cd ever, but a great collection of dance-pop tunes from a smashing singer!

- You Need TO Get THis Album

If You like Amber and do not have this album you need to get it immediately. It is a great work out cd, which will have you pumped from beginning to end. Alot of the songs have the Title Traks beat and energy, in my opinion this Cd is better than the second she released and I like that one too.

- A must-buy for dance freaks

When I first heard "This is Your Night" I instantly caught on to the beat. The title cut is an uplifting, dance-floor ready song that can make just about anyone feel good. "One More Night" is the perfect slow jam, and "Hold My Body Tight" and "Colour of Love" are also great songs. Amber shows some versatility, bordering on techno, then straight dance, and a little bit of R&B. An great album overall.
