- Keep moving, there is nothing to see here.

It seems the people in charge of releasing cheap compilation albums for Alice Cooper are attempting to get Alice into the Guinness Book of World Records for the artist with the most compilation/greatest hits albums... this marks Alice's 2011 release for the annual yearly useless release, and this one also marks the billionth one of these things to be recycled (which is only a few off topping KISS for the lead) that just makes Alice fans raise and eyebrow and wonder who the heck is approving these things?

This one here focus' not on the "best" of Alice Cooper, but the best of the "Trash" (1989), "Hey Stoopid" (1991) & "Last Temptation" (1994) albums. This really puzzles me as to why the heck this one has been released at all seeing as how ALL THREE of those albums was released in 2009 under the title "Triple Feature" which had all three of those albums on 3 disks, all for the price of 1... yet here comes this one in 2011, another release, this time cut down into 2 discs, and not including a whole CD worth of songs, then I just have to shake my head in wonder and wish I could put the persons idea to release yet another badly done random selections from these 3 albums and call it a best of... again. This has been done plenty of times before, there are many other useless Alice so called "best of" or similar releases... man, I wish Alice would take the person responsible and force him/her/them into one of his guillotines or hang him/her/them for the stoopidist ideas in history to keep releasing these things one after the other... especially when they finally got it right with the Triple Feature! That one was perfect, it did not say "best of" or "definitive" or "Best of the 1989 to 1994 era... no, just "Triple Feature" and had 3 great albums that don't contain fillers, the albums are all great from start to finish... so WHY, i repeat, WHY, do they keep on doing this to Alice???

If you want to know what songs are on this, here they are.

There is no point buying this album if you are going to hear 1 and half CD's of a total of 3, and either love it, and want to hear the rest of the songs in the same styles of hard rock/classic rock as featured here, or you will hate it, which is a dud deal anyway... the only thing I can think of that someone might buy this is either they find it cheaper then the ridicules asking price that is a few dollars more then "Triple Feature" or the only album you own is another useless greatest hits/best of album like "Definitive Alice Cooper" and you'd like to have more hits from Alice from beyond 1979.... or perhaps you feel you must own every single thing released... in which you already know you are a sucker and will never play this one here, but at least you got a nice new picture of Alice on the cover... which could have been a lot better.

Take my advice, if you like the songs here, go for the cheaper and better one that contains the 3 albums and not just a random selection of them on two discs and a couple of live songs you can find on "Alice Cooper Classics" which features more live songs then just whats here if those songs interest you.

Say no to more lousy and unwanted compilations. Alice Cooper deserves better then this, so here's to hoping these people responsible for doing these lousy things either stop, or instead of making recorded song compilations, give us a decent Live album that's never been released before... or heck, release the ENTIRE "Trashes The World" live show on CD... not just a billionth re-release of "Live at the Whiskey a Go Go" in 1969 under whatever alternate title they want to call it this time.

This is no way to treat a Hall of Fame inducted rock n roll legend.

- ANOTHER compilation????

I agree with the other review. All the songs are great songs, but what's the purpose? (money, duh...) Just release a really good, never before released live show, or, for that matter, release a COMPLETE live show! The Brutally Live CD was missing one of that show's best songs,(and one of his best songs, period) Pick Up The Bones. At least it is on the DVD. If they can release this junk, then they can release an entire live recording. I have all these songs on their original releases, so again, the songs are certainly not bad, just the concept of gouging the collector. It IS a nice picture, though.
