- Short but sweet

Given the fact that it was made for the Eurovision Song Contest, which America pretty much only knows of thanks to ABBA, it's surprising this short film is getting such a release. That said, it's a six minute ear-to-ear smile with puppet versions of ABBA (circa '74) trying to impress a slimy record company boss. Most of the dialogue is ABBA lyrics, the cameos are cute and it's just a lot of fun. A overemphasis on one character's oral fixation is the only negative. The DVD is padded with a five minute behind the scenes documentary, videos of the songs featured in the short and a picture gallery.

- Not Enough

This DVD is strickly for diehard ABBA fans such as myself. I loved it, but it is much too short. It is a wonderful premise having ABBA puppets auditioning for recognition. The premise is very original and very funny as well as entertaining. They should have made it longer. It was great seeing the original ABBA members as they appear today. I would have rated it 5 stars if it were at least 30 minutes longer. If you love ABBA it is worth the price of the DVD

- ABBA - The Fun Continues!

This is such a fun video! Great Fun to watch! ABBA as puppets (created expertly by the Jim Henson Group), star appearances (all 4 ABBA members, Cher, and others!), along with great ABBA music, both original songs, background music, spoken word, and more! A real treat with a lot of things you need to see more than once to catch, expecially if you are an ABBA fan! An awesome tribute!

- I do, I do I do I do

A true gem!

Lovable puppets, timeless music, delectable wit.

Brief cameos by much aged ABBA members themselves make it all the more touching.

- Fun bit of ABBA nostalgia

I was very reluctant to order this DVD as I have always admired and enjoyed ABBA's music so much and didn't want to watch something that I thought might mock or make fun of them. When I found out all the ABBA members were on board with it and participated I decided to give it a shot. It was well worth it. It totally cracked me up and I dare anyone not to get a kick out of it, smile, downright laugh or all three. It was very cleverly put together as the entire script and speaking parts are all ABBA songs and it blends together perfectly. The puppets were over the top and at first I thought the one of Agnetha in particular was a little overdone and not flattering but when I read she thought it was funny that was good enough for me. HAHA! The only things that knock down the score slightly is the fact the songs are not performed in total and the actual video lasts less than 7 minutes. I also question why the makers felt obligated to add the crude parts involving the record mogul and his assistant. I could not figure out why they went that route and its hard to say whether its appropriate for a youngster to see but that of course is up to you. Despite being advertised as a 40 minute DVD I'd say its closer to 30. I paid $16 with tax and thats pretty steep for something so short. Half that price would have been better. I don't know how rare this item is so perhaps the cost is justified. I do know I felt it was money well-spent and the DVD adds to my ABBA collection of music, DVD's and memorabilia. The DVD also included a "making of" bonus that was interesting but too short. The DVD also includes the actual original music videos from the '70's & '80's of the ABBA hits the puppets performed and some still pictures. I think if they were able to extend the whole DVD to 60 minutes that would have been a better value. I do recommend the DVD however because it can definitely brighten things up when you have had a lousy day.
