As midnight struck to usher in May 29, Pioneer Press photographers began to fan out across Lake Forest to capture what a day is like in our beloved city. For 24 hours they shot residents hustling to catch the train, enjoying a shoe shine, drinking from a Market Square water fountain, and dancing to the music of The English Beat.
