It was a display of old school hip-hop amid a smattering of the newer hits during Snoop Dogg and openers Method Man & Redman's performances at Congress Theater Wednesday night. And while the fans that filled the venue a third of the way seemed to enjoy the party atmosphere and the rib-shaking heavy bass that reverberated throughout both sets, some songs translated better than others.
