The Cedar Park Center was sold out, and the crowd of 8,000 made parking a challenge, with traffic backed up on New Hope Drive and onto the 183-A tollway. But when George Strait took the stage at 9:30 (starting with the title track to his latest album, 'Twang'), the crowd was ready. Opener Lee Ann Womack played a hit-heavy, hourlong set to open the inaugural show at the new venue.
