UTICA, N.Y. -- Nick Zucchero was masterful for Hamilton Post 31 yesterday. In Post 31's final game at the Blue & Gold International Baseball Tournament, Zucchero threw a no- hitter, striking out eight and walking just one as the Hamilton squad defeated Binghamton Post 80, 10-0.

HAMILTON -- It's a good thing Hamilton Post 31's Nick Zucchero is firmly committed to the baseball program at Steinert High, because if Frank Ferrara -- the Spartans' boys track coach -- saw Zucchero speeding around the bases last night, he'd surely be chasing after him to convince him to join the spring track team and forget about his baseball career.
