Discovered Zucchero on American cable system featuring RAI (Italian television station); we started buying his CDs and swiftly became hooked. Charming and gritty like a sexy Cocker, his words envelope you while his melodies send you around the world. 'Sugar' sings in both Italian & English (switches back and forth from line to line sometimes) -- soft sultry ballads, swooning r&b, and he can also rock pretty hard. If you love music you'll adore Zucchero!

Zucchero provides music, both in Italian and in English, which is fun, sensitive and always a joy to listen to. On this particular CD, Eric Clapton appears and the mix of Zucchero's rough manly voice and the distinctive Clapton sound go well together. "Dunes of Mercy", for example, is a sweeping beautiful song that will move the listener. This CD is great music for a party. Enjoy!!

This artist is one of the most moving artists I have heard. He has power, sensitivity, style, and impact on anyone listening to him sing. He is obviously revered by his peers (American and others) as is evident by his CD's that are with other great singers and songwriters. Was in his presence in Taormina, Sicily many years ago...he and his entourage, and he has quite the charisma in person as well. Just wish I could hear him in person one day!

Zucchero an Italian Singer/song writer is basicaly unknown in the US . But his music can be heard on many film scores . I feel his " Your Losing Me " song . As heard on a "Red Shoes Diaires" segment. Show cases his Music and Voice abilities to a high level . He is able to impart feelings , emotions and excites the mind to a level where we are drawn into the scene and become one with him in expressing those deep emotions of love and loss . His other releases show an eclectic range of feelings . Laughter , happiness ,love and sorrow which will delight the mind .

I absolutely love this CD, and have have no regrets that I purchased it. I recommend it highly. It is a good buy.
