Alvin Nathaniel Joiner (born September 18, 1974 in Detroit, Michigan), better known by his stage name Xzibit, is an American rapper, actor, and host of MTV's Pimp My Ride. He began his music career as a member of the Likwit Crew, a loose collective of West Coast rappers including King Tee, Defari, and Tha Alkaholiks. He released his solo debut album 'At The Speed Of Life' in 1996 and has since released 5 more albums, his latest being Full Circle, released in 2006. His new album is expected to be released sometime in 2009. |

Rapper Xzibit is continuing to add to his acting credits, as he is set to appear alongside actor Nicolas Cage in the upcoming film, "Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans." In the film, the rapper plays the character Big Fate, a murderous drug dealer who Cage's character, Terrence McDonagh, becomes involved with.

Here's the official trailer for the upcoming "Bad Lieutenant" film, starring Nicolas Cage, Xzibit, and Eva Mendes. In the film, Cage plays corrupt cop in New Orleans who teams up with a drug dealer (Xzibit) to score coke, chicks, guns and of course money. Looks like it should be good.
