- You Take the Good You Take the Bad and There You Have... Full CircleI have a certain admiration for Xzibit, because I believe he is one of the most talented rappers alive. However, his talent seems to come and go, almost as if he just can't find the inspiration sometimes. Some of my favorite rap songs are from Xzibit, such as Man Vs. Machine's "Heart of Man," but I wouldn't consider any of his CDs to be on my favorites list, because although they often come with some killer tracks, they also tend to come with a lot of "meh" tracks as well.
Full Circle is a perfect example of this. Of this entire CD, I only really enjoyed about three tracks. The rest were okay, but nothing I would listen to several times over. With that in mind though, I think Concentrate, Family Values, and Thank You alone make this purchase worthwhile, it's just disappointing to see so much bland, uninspired tracks, such as Scandalous Bitches and Say It To My Face, coming from an artist who I feel could go far above that.
I'm afraid Xzibit is at risk of falling into obscurity. His CDs have become lower in quality over the past few years, even if it has been a rather slow descent. If Xzibit keeps making CDs like "Full Circle" and "Weapons of Mass Destruction," I'm afraid it won't be long before he falls off the rap radar. Right now hes just a blip, and needs another big hit like "Restless" if he wants to stay in the rap game.

- Xzibit - Full CircleRapper and Pimp My Ride host Xzibit's (AKA Alvin Nathaniel Joiner IV) sixth album is "Full Circle" (2006). Guest appearances on this fourteen track release come from Jelly Roll, Kurupt, Don Blaze, The Game, Daz Dillinger, T-Pain, DJ Quik, King T and Too Short. Highlights of this album for me include my favourite track - the closer "Thank You", a cut where Xzibit thanks his fans and talks about his progression, backed by a impressive beat. On "Scandalous B******" X tells a personal story while relating to others, "Family Values" is another strong cut worth listening to. The albums first single "Concentrate" has Xzibit teaming up with T-Pain and fellow West Coast Rappers Daz Dillinger and The Game. I agree that production on this release could be better. Xzibits rhyming is generally on point though. "Full Circle" is a decent release worth checking out.

- someone needs to pimp his beatsNow this was a hard review for me to write, because MR. X to tha Z is probably one of my favorite mc's. Really dont know where to start. Many people said his music would suffer because of the sucess of his show and his movie career, but he prove the world wrong w/his last offering "Weopons of mas destruction", which was great. But i dont know what happened here. Now i really dont blame x for the fact that full circle sucks, because the fault really lies in the hands of the producers. The worst culprit would have to be jellyroll. His super choppy brand of funk just doesnt do it for me. He puts way to many sounds that just dont fit together. Track one is so jumbled, it is way too distracting to even pay attention to the lyrics. Concentrate sounds like a total rip off of bustas touch it. dj quick is the only producer who really delivered on this album, but his 2 tracks just werent enough to save it. I hope next time around he does a better job at picking beats, because he is way too talented to make another crappy record.

- X TO THA Z IS BACKAnd better than ever with this new release "FULL CIRCLE" which is better then his last two efforts. The first single is great with a banging beat and I like the drums on it and that old guy chatting that foriegn langauge. My other favorites songs are "Say it to My Face", "Black and Brown", "On Bail", "Family Values", "Movin In Your Chucks" and the very personal "Thank You". Xzibit showed me he is back on his game and hopefully his future products will be the same caliber as this was. I recommend that fans of rap should buy this and if you a X to tha Z fan then this better be in your collection. WESTCOAST IS BACK!

- Finally the west is backThat is what the real hardcore west coast is supposed to sound like, this album is top quality. X is always staying true to who he is and he doesn't put a mask on like all these actors/rappers. He is a diamond for hiphop and everybody who likes and understand hip hop should cop this dope album, Nuff' said: X is back.
