Review - Amazon.com :
Perhaps his superb three-CD box Revolutions of Time is a bit out of your price range. Maybe his 16 Biggest Hits collection feels a bit slight. This two-CD set works as a fair compromise between the two, although it lacks any discographical information or liner notes. Still, the music here is mostly breathtaking and is varied and balanced enough to provide a clear sense of Nelson's numerous strengths: a deft songwriting flair, a respect for country's traditions, a distinctive nasal twang, and a wonderful touch and feel on his gut-string guitar. --Marc Greilsamer Customer review - 1999-05-05
- If you buy one Willie Nelson cd, this should be it.There are a lot of Willie Nelson compilations out there, but this one is hard to beat. It is a rich, pithy collection of his absolute best material. Although I personally own 15 of Willie's cds, this is the one I bring with me on the road. Everyone should have this album in his/her collection.

- Is it Possible to Wear Out a CD ?The answer is no, because my copy of "The Very Best of Willie Nelson" would be. The more you listen the more you realize that what may be taken initially as simple music is actually layered in beauty. Don't miss this one.

- Great songs by an all-time classic performer! If you appreciate the classics, this is for you. He plays a mean wicked guitar. Anyone who has recommendations of albums that are strictly instrumental- Willie, please forward. So appreciate his band. Thanks!

- The Very Best of Willie won't let you down!!My favorite song is, "There's nothing I can do about it now." But this CD is packed with Willie's finest.

- BurnedI feel burned! The Best of Willie Nelson didn't have his most popular songs and the quality of the CDs were terrible. One of the CDs skipped and didn't play. I gave them away the second day I received them.
