RECONSIDER ME is a collection of the best love songs written and performed by the musical legend Warren Zevon. These are the songs that celebrate life and love in all its unsentimental, broken-hearted, obsessive and insanely happy moments. While Warren Zevon is not known as a writer of traditional love songs and ballads, this anthology of overlooked love songs mixes a world weary, ironic and sardonic view of life with the possibility of magic and optimism because of the existence of love. RECONSIDER ME is a terrific introduction to the world of Warren Zevon. - Yes, great songs but not his best love songsZevon wrote one of the best love songs in the english language but you won't find it here "Hasten down the wind", and then no "Carmelita" either. No "Poor poor pitifull me" either! Besides that this is a nice collection, but it should be titled "13 love songs" and not "THE love songs". Pitty they did not add some more songs with 30 more minutes of time, but maybe this could be fixed in a new remastered edition. That would be a nice idea.

- Johnny StrikesUpTheBandI'm sure Warren could care less, but why the &^%$ isn't he in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! I heard a cover of "Reconsider Me" on the season finale of Californication. Great song!

- A Excellent GroupingAny fan will have these cuts already. There is something to be said for getting this cd. If for no other reason to maintain a "complete" collection.
