Análisis (en inglés) - Amazon.com :
This is one of those records crafted purely to dance around to and have a great time with. "We're Going to Ibiza" has to be one of the catchiest dance-pop songs of the late '90s; luckily the rest of the Vengaboys' greatest-hits collection provides similarly hedonistic, gloriously vapid pleasures. The Vengaboys' sound is what might happen if one were to throw Ace of Base, Stardust, and Miami Sound Machine into a blender and press the Purée button. The group (two women and two men) may look like a Saturday morning Spice Girls-meets-the-Village People cartoon, but their sound is not quite as campy as they look; it's all about fun--nothing more, nothing less. --Mike McGonigal Análisis de usuario (en inglés) - 2000-03-10
- A bouncy, ditsy, fun album full of life and energy!Let's just get one thing straight here- the Vengaboy's debut, The Party Album!, is defenitly not an artistic achievement- far from it. But that doesn't stop it from being a house-pumping album filled with radio and party friendly hits. Starting with the group's US smash hit, "We Like to Party!", this song is one of the best singles released during the summer of 99. 1999's summer season was wild in the entertainment business, and it was tons of fun for me and my friends. "We Like to Party!" was the perfect anthem. The squiggly-synthesizer lines mixed with Kim and Denise's helium vocals and the funny little bus horn makes the song a riot to dance to. "Boom Boom Boom Boom!" is a high energy riotous dance song filled with strong bass beats and a fun little bridge ("Whoa, whoa, this is what I wanna do..."). "Up and Down" sounds like a different version of "We Like to Party!" with the same squiggly synthesizer lines, but the song is another example of the Vengaboys' delightful dance energy. "To Brazil", "Vengababes from Outer Space", "Movin' Around"- all great fun and great party songs. This party album will defenitly have you ridin' the vengabus once you start dancing to it!

- So when do we get another album?I still listen to this 5 years later because it's just got great tunes to dance to. I usually listen to it in the kitchen on our CD stereo while cleaning and I have noticed lately that they even use one of the songs on a KFC commerical, so when playing it at a party recently, people kept saying, oh my god thats the KFC song even though the song has been out for a while.
I sure would like a followup but I am guessing they maybe arent together anymore.

- Kinda Party, Kinda not (Mostly party)This album is better than I expected. I thought every song would be like the Vengabus, and I was WAAAAAAY off. Of course, the Vengabus is the best song on the CD, but a lot of the others rock too. Boom Boom Boom Boom is a great song that is a REAL dance tune. Up and Down is a great song when you listen to it. It could even be used as a workout song. Ho Ho Vengaboys is incredibly catchy. We're Going To Ibiza is my second favorite song on the CD. I wasn't too fond of To Brazil, but it's what you like. Vengababes From Outer Space is ccol too. The last few songs are boring, but I haven't had the patience to listen to those. The first 5 songs are what will pull you in. You'll love this CD if you like to listen to quick music or LOVE dancing! Get it NOW!!!

- A straight-up party disc- nothing more, nothing lessMany people consider the Vengaboys, one of the hottest dance acts to emerge from Europe in recent years, as an untalented and lame outift who work alongside computers and synthesizers and sing really badly to really bad songs. I defenitely prefer to differ. Their debut cd, the Gold-certified THE PARTY ALBUM! (released as UP AND DOWN in the rest of the world) has helped opened up the doors for more European dance acts to explode succcessfuly onto the US charts. Featuring the Top 40 smash "We Like to Party!", the Vengaboys are nothing but pure fun and pure energy... We Like to Party! : This was the Vengaboy's first explosive hit, and with its recognizable synth-line and great chorus, it's easy to undestand why this became one of the biggest dance hits of 1999. Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom! : The perfect club song! At my high school's recent homecoming dance, they played this song (along with "We Like to Party!") and let me tell you the energy on the dance floor was HOT! Up and Down : A #1 smash on the Billboard Dance chart, "Up And Down" was the single that got Europe's attention and helped make Vengaboys one of the biggest dance acts around. So don't go looking for the most critically acclaimed album of the year or a Grammy-winner for this cd. Buy this cd if you're looking for great party music and great fun- you won't be disappointed.

- The cheesiest album in the world, and the most fun tooCome on, people. Anyone who releases a CD with songs called "Vengababes from Outer Space" and "Boom Boom Boom Boom" and "Superfly Slick" is obviously not going to change the face of music. Get over it. This album is pure dance delight. From the opening air horn on "We Like to Party" to the Euro-reggae sound of "We're Going to Ibiza" that Ace of Base popularized, and even the Razor-and-Guido-meets-Miami-Sound-Machine "VFOS," "The Party Album!" is definitely a treat to listen to. Buy it for a party, buy it for fun, but buy it.
