Vanessa Anne Hudgens (aka Vanessa Hudgens) got her musical debut singing songs on Disney's original movie, High School Musical as Gabriella Montez. She sang one solo song, "When There Was Me And You", as well as three songs with Zac Efron; "Start of Something New", "Breaking Free" and "What I've Been Looking For (Reprise)". She also sang in many of the chorus numbers such as "We're All In This Together".
She also appeared in High School Musical 2, and is in talks to star in High School Musical 3 in 2008.
Using a shortened version of her name, Vanessa Hudgens, she released her debut album, titled "V" with Hollywood Records in 2006, and is expected to release a second album in the future.
