The Veronicas is a band consisting of identical twin sisters Jessica Louise Origliasso and Lisa Marie Origliasso (born December 25, 1984 in Brisbane, Australia). The Veronicas currently live in Los Angeles, California, United States. Their name is borrowed from the 1989 movie Heathers and its main character, Veronica Sawyer, who, when asked if she is a Heather (ie. part of the popular girls clique), responds, "No, I'm a Veronica." |
