A good portion of the product description is incorrect; this album is a single disc compilation that was initially released in Australia. There is a 3-CD expanded version, but this is the original 1991 "Startrax" issue.

The tracks are from The Velvet Underground and Nico, White Light/White Heat, The Velvet Underground, 1969: The Velvet Underground Live and VU. It is a solid 17-track retrospective into the career of this infuential band and an outstanding means for new fans to delve into the incredible artistry.
