Hailing from Romford, England, Karl Hyde and Rick Smith started out in 1983 as members of quirky new-wave pop band Freur. Freur became Underworld in 1986 and in 1988 the band struck chart success with single Underneath The Radar. This incarnation also had a minor hit on the US pop charts and a moderate hit on US alternative radio with Stand Up, which remains their biggest hit in that country. This initial lineup consisted of Hyde, Smith, Alfie Thomas, Bryn Burrows, Baz Allen and Pascal Consoli before sinking back into obscurity and disbanding in 1990. |

Underworld at Belgrade Arena, Beograd Location: Belgrade Arena
Britanski duo Underworld nastupiće 10. novembra u Beogradskoj areni.
Od sutra, 15. septembra, do srede 30. septembra, u prodaji će se naći ulaznice po promotivnoj ceni od 1990 dinara, saopštili su organizatori.
Karte se mogu kupiti na biletarnici Beogradske arene, prodajnim mestima Bilet servisa, Eventima, Card Servicea, kao i putem sajtova arenabeograd i tickets.
Underworld trenutno snima nove pesme sa Brianom Enom.
Iako ima dovoljno materijala za tri albuma, bend najverovatnije neće objaviti dugosvirajući format, rekao je NME-ju Karl Hyde.
"Trenutno ne želimo da razmišljamo o vezivanju za album. Iz nekog razloga to izgleda kao veoma zastareo koncept", izjavio je on.
Hyde je dodao da ga rad na novim pesmama podseća na vreme kada su snimali 12-inčne singlove.
Poslednji album Underworlda bio je Oblivion with Bells iz 2007. godine.
