Trace Adkins is deservedly one of country's brightest young stars of the late 1990s, a new-school traditionalist with a strong voice that prowls the octaves, and songs that empathize with country's working-man roots. Most importantly, though, he has an excellent sense of humor--Adkins's songs delight in clever wordplay, double entendres, and smart, funny lines that might make even non-country fans smile. The highlight here is the country hit "I Left Something Turned on at Home," which as you might suspect, isn't the iron, but rather his wife. - awesomeTrace Adkins debut is totally rockin'. He has a different sound from the usual country sound. He brings with him some awesome lyrics to go with his pure baritone voice. The Violin player rocks too. Guitars are sweet... everything fits together nicely. Another cool thing about him is how the songs are witty and funny in a way. Mr. Adkins is by far my favorite "country" artist and maybe one of my favorite artists in any genre of music. So, grab the CD if you like country or not cause if you dont I'm sure this will turn you on to it.

- "Dreamin' Out Loud" is real good country musicMy sweetie gave me this album for Christmas because she knew I really liked the song "This Ain't No Thinkin' Thing." I guess it kind of describes our love for each other. I also liked the harmonica sound on "It was You" - nice touch. The whole CD is pretty darn good (singer and band both real country). I enjoyed this album so much I bought his other two CDs from Amazon. When they arrive I'll play them with my sweetheart snuggled up in my arms.

- A Great Debut Album.This Is One Of The Best Albums Of The Late 1990's. The Lead-Off Single "There's A Girl In Texas" Was A Top Tener. So Wasn't "Every Light In The House Is On". "(This Ain't) No Thinking Thing" Was A Number 1 Hit. The Highlight Of The Album Was 1997's "I Left Something Turned On At Home". That Is The Best Hit.

- Good debut albumTrace Adkins is one of the best new country singers of the 90's and Dreamin' Out Loud is probably his best album so far. The first half of it is packed full of hits from "There's A Girl In Texas" to "Every Light In The House Is On." The second half of the album doesn't have any hits on it, but they're not bad in any way. In my opinion, they should've been hits. Trace Adkins has a singing style of his own and when he has a hit, it's a great one. Most of his hits so far are on this album. I recommend it to anyone who likes country music.

- GREAT.....CAN'T WAIT FOR MOREAFTER LISTENING TO THE CD AND SEEING HIM IN PERSON TRACE ADKINS IS AT THAT THE TOP AND STILL GOING CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE!!!!!!
