- The very best!!!Finally we can buy a Greatest hits album from this fantastic singer. Here you'll find almost all her hits, I say this because "Spanish guitar" and "How could an angel break my heart" aren't here. This cd contains the following tracks: 1- "Give u my heart" (with Babyface) 2- "Love shoulda brought you home" 3- "Another sad love song" 4- "Breath again" 5- "Seven whole days" (live) 6- "You mean the world to me" 7- "How many ways" 8- "You're making me high" 9- "Let it flow" 10-"Un-break my heart" 11-"I love me some him" 12-"I don't want to" 13-"He wasn't man enough" 14-"Just be a man about it" 15-"Hit the freeway" (with Loon) 16-"Whatchu need" (new song) 17-"The little things" (new song) 18-"Un-break my heart" (remixed version) Toni has released 5 studio albums in her career. The first one was in 1993 with the tittle "Toni Braxton". The album won 3 Grammys and was certified Platinum x8 (sold 10 million copies worldwide). The second album was "Secrets" from 1996. The album was also certified Platinum x8 (sold 12 million copies worldwide) and won 2 Grammy awards. Then after some troubles with her label Toni released "The heat" in 2000. An album fresher than her first 2, once again Toni released a hit, the album was certified Platinum x2 in the U.S (sold 4 million worldwide) and won a Grammy for the song "He wasn't man enough". In 2001 Toni released a holliday album called "Snowflakes". The album was certified Gold. So finally in 2002 "More than a woman" came out (for me this is a very good cd) but eventhough the album was certified Gold, it went nowhere, the only single "Hit the freeway" only reached #86 in the Billboard's Hot 100. But really that doesn't mean that the album isn't good. Actually it has more hip hop but sounds very good. I think that the problem with that album is that it didn't have a good promootion and Toni was pregnant when it came out.

- Finest Recorded Moments From One Of The Finest Pop VocalistsOver the past 10 years, Toni Braxton has released four proper studio albums, which have each been mixed bags in terms of both genre and quality. For the most part, Ultimate Toni Braxton cuts the filler and presents a decades-worth of pop/r&b hits by one of the most recognizable voices in recent music history. "Another Sad Love Song", "Un-Break My Heart". "Breathe Again", "He Wasn't Man Enough", "You're Makin' Me High" and "You Mean The World To Me" are all radio staples worth revisiting, and several of the songs found here, including "Let It Flow" and "Love Shoulda Brought You Home", have enhanced the films in which they were originally featured. ('Waiting To Exhale' and 'Boomerang', respectively) As a perk, the versions of songs on Ultimate are the versions heard every 30 minutes on the radio back in the 90's. It's often disappointing to pick up an artists CD, only to realize there are an additional two minutes of the hit single(s) that you don't (and don't care to) know. This is the only Toni Braxton release to contain her debut single, a collaboration with Babyface (not so much a duet...there's more Toni than Kenny) from the 'Boomerang' movie soundtrack called "Give U My Heart". In addition, there are two new recordings. The fun and essential Rodney Jerkins production "Whatchu Need", is easily Toni's best song since 2000's "He Wasn't Man Enough", while "The Little Things" is a yawn-fest R. Kelly rehash of "I Don't Want To", the song he penned for her in 1996, already included on this CD. The grand finale is a previously unreleased radio cut of the Hex Hector remix for "Un-Break My Heart". More effort could have been put into the sleeve art, but Ultimate Toni Braxton is a solid collection worthy of a place in any pop music lovers collection.

- A lot of hits, enjoyableI really enjoyed this collection. Whereas many times with an artists "Greatest" package some of the good songs are left off but that is not the case with "Ultimate Toni Braxton." You forget that Toni had so many hits, but she did. The set does include several previously unreleased tracks and the live version of "Seven Hole Days." This live version is great. I personally love some of her later stuff, especially, "He Wasn't Man Enough." The set also includes "Hit The Freeway," from her last CD that didn't do so hot. I can't wait for Toni's new CD which is due soon.

- I Love me some Her!So it has everything you could want, minus a few but with so many hits your bound to get screwed somewhere...BUT, the point is that what is included is just what we want. Great ballads like 'Un-Break My Heart', 'I Don't Want To' and 'Another Sad Love Song' are here beside dance numbers like the steamy 'You're Makin' Me High' and 'He Wasn't Man Enough'. Toss in some great old school tracks like 'Breathe Again' (still love that song) and 'Give You My Heart', some more recent tracks like 'I Love me Some Hime' and 'Hit The Freeway' and then add some brand new songs (the only good one being 'Whatchu Need' since 'The Little Things' sounds too much like 'Another Sad Love Song') and you have a hit maker...now I will say that the dance remix of 'Un-Break My Heart' rapes the song of all heart and soul but whats one drawback to a bag od success? Great album.

- Ultimately smooth!Toni Braxton is a sexy R & B diva who can deliver the goods with a great voice and good songs. The tiny singer can belt out a sad ballad or an up beat dance song with the best of the them and, fortunately for us, her greatest hits have been packaged in one cd. The songs that got her started such as "Another Sad Love Song" and "Love Should Have Brought You Home" start out the set and follow chronologically through her career to such recent hits like "He Wasn't Man Enough" and "Just Be a Man About It". Two previously unreleased songs are included on this "best of" cd, both nice additions to Braxton's set of songs. Also included is a remix of her hit song, "Un-Break My Heart". The biggest surprise to me was the absence of two songs I really liked---"Spanish Guitar (which had some really cool remixes) and the beautiful ballad, "How Could An Angel Break My Heart". Other than these two songs being missed from the line-up, I am perfectly satisfied with this group of songs and will enjoy having it in my cd player. This is a must have for any R & B fan and a definite requirement for any fan of Ms. Braxton. Well worth your money!
