Tokio Hotel is a pop rock band founded in 2001 in Magdeburg, Germany. The twins, Bill and Tom Kaulitz (born in Magdeburg, Germany on 9/1/89) have been performing since the age of 9. After a show in Magdeburg, Bill and Tom met Gustav Schäfer (born 9/8/88) and Georg Listing (born 3/31/87). Their tastes in music soon paved the path to the formation of the band 'Devilish'. 'Devilish' never got signed by a record company but produced one demo. Bill Kaulitz once appeared in the German Talent Show StarSearch in 2003, where he performed "It's Raining Men".
