Description :
Vol. 3 - Greatest Hits of Tim McGraw show his musical genius as a testament to the instincts and tenacity of the man from the hometown of Start, Louisiana. He grew up loving music and sports as his father was baseball great Tug McGraw. Tim played solo in regional nightspots, then headed to Nashville, where he joined the throng of young hopefuls vying for attention. His on-stage charisma helped land him a record deal, and his debut album hit the stores in April 1993. He and his band--some of whom are still with him--took to the road to hone the sound that continues to make his concerts among the industry's most exciting.Customer review - 2009-01-15
- I love TimReally good mix would def agree this would go better with one and two, which I ordered, but you can't go wrong with Tim

- Good value for the priceThis was in my stcoking at Christmas. My wife knows I like Tim McGraw, having GH I & II, and this is not an expensive CD. There are a number of good songs on the CD and maybe one real dog. It is not a great GH CD but we have all seen worse. Did the label push this out to make some money? Many think so and might be right. On the other hand, there are some real good tracks on the CD and I like Tim McGraw.

- $$$ curb $$$ records $$$Just another example here of a record label that's out for themselves, and all they really care about is making more money. It's kind of a joke that Tim has only released one real CD since his Greatest Hits 2 album...and now we have a Greatest Hits 3? That should be a complete embarrassment to Curb Records...
Luckily Tim has his own label now, and just has to wait out his contract (which is done after this CD) with curb records before he can release his own new album with all new songs. I think the best quote ever is from Tim himself: "In the spirit of an election year, I would simply say to my fans ***I'm Tim McGraw, and I don't approve their message.***" : )

- ARE THESE REALLY HIS GREATEST HITS?Well, once again ol' Tim puts out his third GREATEST HITS album. Have these songs already reached GREATEST HITS status? I think not, but it is another descent collection of songs for a very nice price. I enjoy all of these songs, but I'm still trying to get used to Tim singing with Def Leppard. NINE LIVES is what you get when "pop country" and "pop rock" collide. I remember the good ol' days when Def Leppard use to really rock and wouldn't be caught dead singing a duet with a country singer! That shows how the genre of music has really changed a lot. All and all this is a good buy, $7.99 for a new CD is awesome, but I think there is a better selection of Tim Mcgraw songs out there that can really be considered GREATEST HITS. Anybody remember "MEMORY LANE" off of his first album before his second album "NOT A MOMENT TOO SOON" came out? If you haven't heard that album find it and buy it because it is his very best work and it sells for pretty cheap as well. It is just titled TIM McGRAW. Happy listening!

- Awesome album with a great surprise at the end Koodos to Amazon for offering this album for $2.99 on it's release date. A lot of great songs on this album. From the opening with Back When to the end with Nine Lives. For me this was the kicker. I knew I had heard it before, and through checking my iTunes librabry sure enough it was on Def Leppard's Songs From The Sparkle Lounge. I think it is way cool to see Def Leppard and Tim Mcgraw working together. This is a must have album for any music lover.
