Lesbians are used to turning up their noses at pop cultural phenomena for not being lesbian enough. It's a national pastime. There are some lesbians who think that the sisterhood was sold out by TaTU (remember the Russian duo in matching schoolgirl outfits?) and there are more who think that The L Word is doing more damage to the name of lesbianism than ten years of Margaret Thatcher.

A homgenous cliché- "Oh naughty me- i just went to the gay bar". Yes, That's all there is to it, and worshipping a seemingly 16 year old karaoke singer. Basically all homogenised fucks in an overwraught Dafydd act-a-like contest crossed with a fusion of L word copycats and TaTu copycats.
