- Good value provided you want all three! This box set is great for anyone who wants to acquire the whole of the early works of Tangerine Dream, as this contains three ("Electronic Meditation", "Alpha Centauri", "Zeit") of them, for rather more than the price of two! It is a shame, perhaps, that the collection includes "Electronic Meditation" rather than "Atem", as otherwise the grouping would be irresistible, but then that's marketing tactics for you, I guess! (And this grouping does make sense, being TD's first 3 discs.) All of these discs are available separately, so you don't need to feel bullied into buying them this way if you don't think you want all three. (And if you want to know more about each, I have reviewed them all here under their individual entries.) Otherwise, this is the best way to get them.

- Worth Trying To Track DownThis is a very rare find, but a fabulous means to hear the early sounds of the legendary band. This set includes the initial three releases - 1970-1972 - in an era known as "The Pink Years," because the Ohr record label's logo was a pink ear.
The evolution in the sound revolution begins to take shape and the vast artistic canvas used by TD is being painted in colors that have never aged...and continue to influence musicians.
