Upcoming T-Pain concerts

Location: Hisense Arena With 7 million album sales under his belt, the undisputed global hip-hop-pop superstar right now is AKON! Akon with special guest T-Pain will be performing two shows in Australia this October. Akon, with his band will be performing all the hits from his three successful albums: ‘Trouble’, ‘Konvicted’ and ‘Freedom’ including Sexy Bitch, Smack That, Dangerous, Right Now (Na Na Na) and Beautiful. 2009 has shaped up to be Akon’s biggest year of his career. In addition to the release of Freedom which has produced three massive hits dominating the airwaves and charts, AKON launched his fashion line, Konvict and Aliaune Clothing in January and finally the Konfidence Foundation, the charity Akon has personally funded for four years, has teamed up with songwriter/philanthropist Peter Buffett to launch IsThereSomethingICanDo.com, a Google of sorts for charitable foundations. (An elementary school in the singer's home country of Senegal has already been built, with a hospital being developed). Let’s not forget Akon is accredited with over 200 guest appearances and 32 Billboard Hot 100 songs. He is also the first solo artist to accomplish the feat of holding both the number 1 and 2 spot simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100 chart twice. Akon will be joined on the tour by famous hip hop singer song writer & producer T-PAIN. T-Pain embraces both the old-school and current R&B. He is an artist who is not afraid of taking chances. In 2005, his debut album Rappa Ternt Sanga spawned the hits "I'm Sprung" and "I'm N Luv (Wit A Stripper)". Since the release of that album, T-Pain has produced numerous hits of his own and for other rappers and R&B singers.
